I give out information every day to my clients at Rescue Beauty Lounge. Most of our clients have been with us for the past twelve years, and seeing each other weekly, we share our most intimate details about life and its tribulations. I share my book lists, where to dine, what to buy, where to travel, and which health and beauty experts to seek out. I share recipes and advice on every issue under the sun (clients even text me while they shop if they can’t decide what to buy). We are friends without politics and complications, and we are part of a family without all the emotional baggage. I have an ironclad policy not to socialize with clients outside of RBL (a lesson I learned about a decade ago which resulted in a bad break-up with a friend who was also a client—I now separate the church and the state).
Then, I grew to adore and love our loyal devotees from our website and facebook without ever meeting them in person. My diminutive brick-and-mortar world has expanded to an eye-opening world of the web. This blog will be an extension of what I chat with my clients about: all the subjects that fill my life, the things I have tried and tested as well as new discoveries. I cherish the fact that we are bonded by a love of RBL nail polishes, which fills me with glee and gratitude. I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I had fun writing these posts. If there is anything you wish to discuss, please leave me a comment.
